In 1962 the corvette hp was increased from 283 to 327. Plus was the last year for the conventional trunk,and exposed headlights to name a few.This 1962  Vette retained its original paint, we had to make a hard choice to either leave all original or repaint it. After a lot of discussion, due to sun damage and peeling of the lacquer paint,  Boss said repaint! So we have had it completely stripped down to bare fiberglass, block sanded, and repainted in a 2 stage Roman red paint. Power is supplied by a 327 cu / 340 hp small block. We believe this was an original 340hp car because it has the high RPM tach. Manifold, heads and intake are all correct to a 340hp car. Frame is solid with no issues. Chrome and bright work is in very good condition. Seats look to be original and carpet looks great.To top off this gorgeous roadster is a beautiful white convertible top that goes well with the white walls.
